ART WORK: All art work, color separating, cleanup and art work made from rough sketches
will be billed at $35.00 per hour. We will Quote your job prior to starting as soon as the
material and order have arrived.
KLM reserves the right to provide up to $35.00 in art work without contacting the Client.
CAMERA READY ART: Is art that can be used, as is with no additional preparation except to enlarge or reduce it.
It can be on camera film slicks or on computer disk from most art programs. All art on paper
should be black on white. MULTI COLOR ( Separated ) ART MUST HAVE REGISTRATION
MARKS.
"COMPUTER DISK" IS THE TRANSFER METHOD OF CHOICE
REMEMBER, YOUR DECAL WILL ONLY BE AS GOOD AS THE ART
THE FINAL DECISION AS TO THE QUALITY OF THE ART IS THAT OF KLM
COLORS: To insure good production time on orders please allow KLM'S CUSTOMER SERVICE to select the closest KLM STANDARD COLOR for your job. PMS Color matches will cost $45.00 and add additional time to your job.
CANCELLATIONS: If the job is canceled after it has been started, ALL PRODUCTION COSTS to that time will be due.
COLOR FASTNESS: Overglaze fired decals some times combine with the color of the item and blend the two colors resulting in color shifts.
COVER COAT: If you want individual cover coat ( spot cover coat, add $18.00 to the order. If we must produce art for the cover coat please request a quote.
DELIVERY: Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for normal designs and 3 to 8 weeks for four color process. For Rush Delivery add $35.00 Per Color.
EMBOSSING: Precious metal embossing is priced as a 3color job plus $0.44 ea per decal.
EXACT QUANTITIES: Due to production limitations we reserve the right to ship + or - 10%.
FIRING TEMPERATURE: Our ceramic decals fire at 1450 Degrees F & our Glass Decals fire @ 1050 degrees. We strongly suggest that you test fire our decals to determine the proper firing temperature and atmosphere .
FOUR COLOR PROCESS DECALS: Any color photograph, slide, or painting can be made into a decal. The method is called FOUR COLOR PROCESS. This is a process we do everyday and it is gorgeous. However, in order to print this process we must make separations and the charge for this is $180.00 per picture or size. Then, figure the job like a 4 color job and add 25% to each decal.
GLASS DECALS: For pricing glass decals, ( firing @1050 deg ), compute the standard 1 color price as a 2 color price since all glass decals must have a white background for proper density and viewability. The rest is the same.
GOLD OR SILVER: We use gold and silver in our decals every day. Due to changing prices please contact the factory for actual quotes.
HALFTONE PRINTING: For the use of halftoning in the decal please add 25% to the computed price.
ORDER ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: We will notify you by mail or fax of the receipt of your order.
PERSONALIZATION: Standard type personalization is available for $1.75 ea with a minimum of 30 names. ( black or white only) plus 1 setup of $25.00. For other colors, consult the factory.
PHOTOGRAPHIC DECALS: Any good black and photograph can be reproduced as a decal or as part of a decal. Just add $25.00 to the total order per photo.
COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC DECALS: ( See FOUR COLOR PROCESS )
SCREEN PREPARATION CHARGES: $22.00 Per Color.
SIGNATURE PERSONALIZATION: Is available for $2.50 ea with a minimum of 30 names. ( black or white only) Plus 1 setup of $25.00. Please contact KLM for special signature cards.
SHIPPING: FOB Colorado Springs, Co.
TERMS: 50% down and balance upon delivery. If the job is under $250.00 then we request 100% pre pay.
TRADEMARK USAGE: All copy or other material submitted by our clients for art production is accepted, assuming full compliance with applicable laws regarding copyrights, trademark, and other privacy or patent protection by the Client. The client here by agrees to hold KLM harmless to any damages or costs regarding this compliance.
TRADEMARK NOTICE: The designs and trade marks imprinted on our decals sent out as samples are for examples of the quality or our work and are not for sale.
